Integrative Health Practitioner
Hi everyone and welcome to my page, I'm Tiffany and I currently reside in England, but I grew up in the rolling hills of California. As a child I suffered from back issues, but it didn't stop me from climbing trees or exploring the 3 acres I grew up on. However, my back issues were compacted by a few car accidents I was in, in my early twenties, and these injuries led me to seek alternative health methods such as massage therapy, physio and strength training. This interest led me to get my massage therapy certification and I have been providing massage therapy periodically for almost 20 years.
Over the years my interest led me to seek more holistic healing techniques after having some failed attempts at the doctors, this involves techniques or methods that heal by the treatment of the whole person. This involves looking at all the factors that could be contributing to a particular problem, such as sleep issues or diet, mental wellbeing, lifestyle, stress, or if its physical aspects that could be affecting one's quality of life.
In 2015, I refreshed many of my massage certifications and had been offering massage therapy from my home studio and this is where Maka Wellness was born. However, I felt like something was missing and wanted to be able to help my clients even more, this is when I discovered the Integrative Health Institute and I qualified as an Integrative health practitioner. Now I can help client's by providing some relief from their struggles by getting to the root of what could be causing their problems, from everyday concerns such as brain fog, fatigue and digestive issues, to deeper concerns like emotional stress, insomnia, chronic illnesses and hormonal imbalances.
I truly feel this is the missing link for what so many people need, with all the overwhelm and stressors of todays life, sometimes its hard to navigate where to begin and I hope I can be that stepping stone for clients.
